Acoustical Pyramid Egypt Tour Terms and Conditions

TOUR DETAILS:  Acoustical Pyramid (AP) travel covers transportation from meeting point, lodging, excursions as noted, entrance fees, the services of expert professional guides, gratuities for professional guides, AP advisors, optional basic travel insurance, and meals as noted.  We pride ourselves in making travel carefree and complete in every detail.  All fees are based on current rates of exchange and present listed fares and are subject to change.  AP will make every effort to maintain the listed price.  Fares are based on double occupancy in twin-bed rooms (AP will make every effort to accommodate your roommate requests, however, these requests cannot be guaranteed.)  If you prefer private room accommodations, there is a single room supplement fee.

 

ITEMS NOT INCLUDED:  Transportation from your home to the starting point of the tour and return, passports, visas for those not arriving with the group, airport, port and departure taxes that will be charged separately and are subject to change, baggage charges, airport transfers when purchasing land-only package, laundry, cleaning, telephone calls, internet services, beverages including wines, beers, liquors, bottled water, soft drinks, coffee and tea, meals not stated in the itinerary, room service, items of a personal nature, photography fees at the various sites, gratuities for photo fees, and cancellation insurance.

 

CANCELATIONS:  All tour monies received, less a $150 handling fee plus unrecoverable monies from airlines, accommodations, and other deposits made upon your behalf, will be refunded for cancellation received in writing sixty days or more prior to departure.  A cancellation fee of $350 plus un-recoverable monies from airlines, accommodations, and other deposits made upon your behalf, will be withheld for cancelations received in writing fifty-nine days or less prior to the date of departure.  No refunds will be made for cancellations received the day of departure or for any portion of the trip unattended.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:  AP acts only as an agent for the suppliers and contractors providing air or other transportations, hotels, and sightseeing activities; and assumes no responsibility, however caused, for your personal injury or personal property loss or damage in connection with any service.  For any circumstances arising as a result of military, terrorist, political action, weather, acts of God, or any other circumstances over which AP has no control, AP shall not be liable to you.  AP reserves the right to alter, change, or omit any part of the itinerary, reservation, conveyance, or routing at any time without notice, where necessary or deemed advisable for your comfort and well-being.

 

TRAVEL INSURANCE:  AP can help arrange a basic accident and sickness insurance policy as a part of your travel program. The cost of this basic policy was quoted at an approximate cost of $90 for the period of this tour.  This coverage is also good for medical evacuation if the need should arise.  This coverage does not cover cancellation.  If you wish to purchase this insurance policy, please select coverage on the Enrollment Form and you will be contacted to finalize coverage. You may also contact Stacey Allen at allen@acousticalpyramid.com. If you wish to purchase cancellation or extra baggage insurance, it is optional; however, we strongly recommend it.  You will need to research and purchase your own policy. There are also cancellation insurance providers available online for you to peruse.
