It is said that in the Garden of Eden there were two trees: the Tree of Knowledge and the Tree of Life.

It is said that in the Garden of Eden there were two trees: the Tree of Knowledge and the Tree of Life.  The Tree of Knowledge was not a “bad guy” tree as it is often characterized.  Rather, the singular serpent in the Tree of Knowledge represents the downward Kundalini.  It is the pathway to incarnation.  In a way, the Tree of Knowledge is the taproot of the Tree of Life and the Tree of Life represents the upward flow of the Kundalini.  When you have the two snakes intertwined, as in the medical symbol of the caduceus, that is the full flow of the Kundalini.   So, one is the vortex that brings the soul into incarnation, and one is the vortex of the upward path of overcoming the world of dualism.  The binary beats involved in these acoustic patterns are moving the Kundalini both up and down as symbolized by the intertwining serpents of the caduceus.  Properly understood, the Tree of Knowledge says there is good and if God is good then everything is good (no dualism).  So, the word “evil” simply means “that which is not well for you”.  The Tree of Knowledge is a healing paradigm rather than a punishment paradigm.  The key is that the Kundalini energy is the pathway to the Tree of Life.  The Tree of Life, with its 10 Sephirotic energies, has 30 multiple pathways to aspects of enlightenment.  However, there is what is called the “lightening path”.  The acoustic patterns in this section are not about the energies of the Tree of Life per se, but they lead us there as those acoustic patterns are in development.  The acoustic patterns in this section will begin that pattern of the intertwining serpents of the caduceus taking you to the crown chakra.  The first acoustic pattern will take you to the borderland of alpha, about 12 Hz.  It is pleasant.  If you allow, it will help you release the “monkey mind” and take you to a wonderful state of peace and relaxation.  It’s a nice place to be if you want interesting dreams.  There is much more to come.

One of the keys to benefiting is to establish intention before you immerse yourself in the sounds. Ask yourself what is your purpose for doing this meditation? (For example, stress relief, healing, improving creativity, better sleep, dream recall or exploring consciousness.) Then immerse yourself in the sounds and don’t worry about distracting, busy thoughts.

We hope you enjoy this experience. Listen as often as you like. However, do not listen to the Acoustical Pyramid while operating a motor vehicle because it does alter consciousness.
